I have decided to revive this blog since this is where it all started almost 4 years ago in February. For the month of November I am going to stick to a theme, to keep me dedicated to taking pictures and exercising why I started this blog in the first place. The purpose of me blogging was to alter my focus while in the midst of motherhood to find the beauty in the mess and chaos. Quite honestly, without consistently blogging I have lost sight of that goal. How quickly the lens and focal point zooms in on the spilled milk, dirty floor, screaming children, fighting siblings, or ____________fill in the blank for the moment.
So, the challenge to myself this month is to be here in this space everyday with 5 things that I am grateful for. I am freeing myself from the pressure that these 5 things need to be perfectly edited, earth-shattering, or require a huge effort. I'm just going to do it, and I challenge you to come along side me and try it, too.

3. apple tree sighting
4. a stroll
5. watching this boy look at books
